The Big Green Event

You are invited to a one-day festival of thought and action at Exeter Cathedral to join up faith and the environment. The aim is to inspire us all to make a difference on climate change and other crucial issues.

Join the Big Green Event at Exeter Cathedral on Saturday 22nd February from 10am to 4:30pm.

Keynote speaker: Bishop Nick Holtam, Bishop of Salisbury and lead bishop for environmental affairs with workshops on:

  • Biodiversity & Conservation In Our Churches David Curry, ‘Living Churchyards’ Lead
  • Climate Science & Adaptation; The Risks, Opportunities and Takeaway Solutions – Luci Isaacson, Diocesan Environment Officer (Truro) & Director of Climate Vision
  • Community: The Urgent Need To Work Together – Br Clark Berge SSF, Guardian of Hilfield Friary
  • Direct Action – Jess Nicholls, Fridays For Future & Liz Dunbar, Christian Climate Action
  • Energy, Travel & EcoChurch – Caroline Pomeroy, Director of Climate Stewards

Tickets cost £8 to cover costs. Under 16s are free.
